Egyptian envoy told to apologise to all M’sians over humiliation from compatriot’s ‘parking bully’ of Kak Ayu

A MALAYSIAN digital creator has boldly brought a viral car park incident of an Egyptian national behaving rudely to a Malaysian woman to the attention of the Egyptian ambassador Kareem El Sadat.

In a letter to the Egyptian envoy, Mujahidin Zulkiffli claimed that one Mohamed Elgamal who is believed to be an Egyptian national residing and doing a business or working in Malaysia has harassed the woman identified as Ms Ayu despite having made an illegal parking by blocking the woman’s car in the first place.

“His car with registration plate VLN6175 was blocking hers for a long time, causing her unbearable stress which led her to have an emotional outburst and unfortunately, she had resorted to damaging his car,” penned the Good Samaritan in a letter undersigned by “We the Protective People of Malaysia”.

“Some minimal damage from what can be seen. Dents and scratches. After about an hour or so, around 14 or so Malaysians came out to lift his car and move it out of the way.”

Subsequent to this Mujahidin Zulkiffli recounted that the woman who is known as “Kak Ayu” among local netizens was later seen “to our surprise, making a public apology to Mohamed Elgamal for causing damages to his car”.

“We Malaysians find such behaviour to be unacceptable,” insisted the Supernova Media founder.

“There was no reciprocal apology from Mohamed Elgamal to Ms Ayu for blocking her car and causing her distress leading to emotional outburst and vandalism. We Malaysians find such behaviour to be unacceptable.

“Not only that Mohamed Elgamal blocked her car, he didn’t apologised and he had the audacity to make Ms Ayu apologise to him publicly.”

‘Apologise, deport, compensate’

As the perpetrator has showed no remorse whatsoever, Mujahidin Zulkiffli suggested that Kareem should himself “apologise on his behalf to Ms Ayu in person and to all Malaysians for the humiliation she had to endure, and the insults we all felt out of Mohamed’s doing”.

“We also would (also) like to know if he’s staying in Malaysia legally, operating a business or working in Malaysia legally. If not, we hope you kindly bring him home to your country so that he doesn’t cause such problem and distress to other Malaysians,” he enquired.

“We also demand that your embassy reimburse Ms Ayu for whatever the cost to repair Mohamed’s car. Or tell him to pay it himself. And also a decent compensation for the stress he caused her leading to her emotional outburst.”

Well, the icing on the cake is that Mujahidin Zulkiffli also proposed that “a very kind donation of RM1 mil to any Malaysian charity would also very surely help us feel less humiliated”.

“If he could also be sent back to kindergarten to learn some manner and maybe driving school to learn proper parking that would be absolutely awesome,” he quipped. – April 2, 2026
