EPF becomes substantial shareholder in Aurelius Technologies Bhd

THE Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has become a significant shareholder in electronic manufacturing services company Aurelius Technologies Bhd, according to a recent filing with Bursa Malaysia.

Aurelius disclosed that the EPF acquired a substantial stake on June 19, 2024, holding 34.11 million shares, which represents 7.869% of the company.

This development comes as Aurelius’ share price has experienced a significant increase, rising over 40% year-to-date and more than 60% in the past 12 months.

For the first quarter ended March 31, 2024, Aurelius reported a net profit of RM15.73 mil on a revenue of RM125.70 mil.

In its financial report, Aurelius expressed a commitment to remaining prudent and cautiously optimistic amid the unpredictable global market.

The company plans to continue selective investments in technology infrastructure to further diversify and enhance its capabilities in the Internet of Things and automotive manufacturing sectors. – June 26, 2024
