CONTROVERSIAL Malaysian social media influencer Siew Pui Yi who recently celebrated her 24th birthday has set tongues wagging among netizens the world over when she informed her Facebook fans that she has two vacant positions to be filled – that of personal artist assistant and creative content assistant.
As the home-grown Penthouse sensation who is affably known in the social media realm as MS PUIYI has made the cut by emerging the first Southeast Asian to be featured on the front cover of the adult magazine, it is inevitable for jobseekers to be swayed away from her original hiring plan or even misunderstood her intention.
Hence, her job vacancy posting invited a slew of cheeky feedback which is anything except what she was looking for from aspirants as far as Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Myanmar to India, Japan, the US, Spain, and various African nations, among others.
These ‘job candidate hopefuls’ would offer to do house cleaning for her, fix her washing machine or to be her plumber and even to be her nanny, put sun tan lotion on her, give her a good massage or just to be by her side.
This led to two netizens of presumably of European/American origin questioning MS PUIYI id she has made the right choice to advertise her two job vacancies on her Facebook fanpage.
But surprisingly, there are still genuine applicants out there or even those who know of or are recommending their friends for the two jobs.
With 1 million followers on Facebook, Instagram (18.7 million followers) and TikTok (1.3 million followers and 7.2 million Likes) – and judging by the hives of daily activities that she indulges herself in as a cosmetic/skincare entrepreneur, actor, celebrity, influencer and model – successful job candidates for both positions better brace themselves for an anything but tedious 24-by-7 work routine. – Aug 9, 2022
