JÄÄDE, the premium natural mineral water brand from Finland, has unveiled its expansion plans in Malaysia, a reflection of the country’s growing demand for high-quality, health-conscious products and its role as a gateway for regional expansion.
With the establishment of a local office, JÄÄDE is laying the foundation for long-term growth in Malaysia.
Pronounced yah-day which combines the Finnish words for “ice” (jää) with “spring” (lähde), the brand plans to invest strategically in brand-building, partnerships and distribution by aiming to connect with consumers who value purity, quality and sustainability.
JÄÄDE is currently in the process of obtaining all the necessary permits and approvals from Malaysian regulators, including the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) and the Health Ministry (MOH) to ensure full compliance with local standards.

Poh went on to highlighted findings from the Malaysia Bottled Water Industry Report 2023 by Research and Markets which forecasts the local bottled water market to reach US$522 mil (RM2.16 bil) by 2032, driven by a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of about 5.7% between 2023 and 2032.
He noted that this robust trajectory creates a favourable environment for Jaade’s growth and brand positioning.
