MALAYSIANS may have started to learn their lesson in being more cooperative on adhering to the standard operating procedures (SOPs), as the Government extended the full movement control order (FMCO).
Coupling the rakyat‘s fear of another extension beyond June 28, with the ongoing vaccinations throughout the country, the number of new COVID-19 cases have been steadily going down. Today, the Health Ministry announced a total of 4,949 within the last 24 hours.
During that time, there were also 6,588 patients discharged from medical centres, bringing the total number of recovered COVID-19 patients to 586,864.
The number of COVID-19-related deaths have also decreased, with today standing at 60 (3,968).
Apart from that, there are also 921 patients in intensive care units, with 459 of them requiring ventilation support. – June 14, 2021
