However, Indonesia recorded a second successive week of net foreign selling with outflow of -US$165.9 mil as its newly minted finance minister maintained the CY2026 budget deficit outlook by signalling fiscal policy continuity as Jakarta seeks to restore investor confidence amid concerns over fiscal discipline.
Elsewhere, Thailand returned to net foreign selling after two straight weeks of inflows with outflow of -US$156.2 mil while the Philippines remained in net selling territory for a seventh week in a row with -US$58.4 mil in foreign outflow.
