THE Taiwan Excellence Pavilion at Archidex 2023, a showcase of the innovation and manufacturing prowess of Taiwanese companies, is open to visitors from 26–29 July, 2023.
The range of outstanding products on display is indeed a testament that Taiwanese manufacturers are global market leaders in green building technologies.
Taiwan Excellence is the internationally-recognised mark of quality for Taiwanese products and only the best products are selected for the annual award.
According to Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia director of the economic division James Chang, Malaysia is of great importance under Taiwan’s New Southbound Policy and is a key trading and investment partner.
This year, the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion aims to establish connections between the interior design and architectural business networks of Taiwan and Malaysia, nurture emerging stars in the industry, and showcase creative ideas.
The 10 corporate brands participating in this year’s Taiwan Excellence Pavilion were specially selected and feature many state-of-the-art green building materials, as well as a wide range of innovative kitchen and bathroom products.
FECA is one such exhibitor that has brought in many interesting suction cup products. A brand under the Ferro-Carbon Ent. Co., Ltd, FECA is a company that was established in 1989 as a manufacturer of professional tiling tools and industrial suction cups used in transporting tiles and glasses.
Suction cups offer unrivalled flexibility in storage solution as they do not require drilling and can be repositioned easily whenever needed, which makes them ideal for home use.
According to Ferro-Carbon president Steve Chen, the company established the FECA brand in 2009 to transfer its core suction cup technology into household applications.
Chen said their technology has been proven and improved over many decades under the most stringent industrial use and offers unrivalled performance compared to other commonly available household suction cups.
In fact, FECA products can even grip onto certain textured surfaces that are notoriously challenging for suction cups.
The difference in performance is in the design and the material choice. FECA holds multiple patents for its suction cups and use high quality natural rubber as opposed to plastic found on other products.
Natural rubber provides outstanding sealing and longevity and FECA is so confident of the performance that it even offers shelving solutions and exercise equipment in its extensive line of products.
In addition to the suction properties, FECA hooks feature a double locking system that further enhances security and allow the hook to be oriented in different positions.
Its products also come in a series of attractive and hardwearing finishes that can suit just about any interior design.
Chen is looking forward to working with Malaysian distributors and retailers who would have a better understanding of the local market and he is confident that FECA’s products offer a unique value proposition different from what is available on the market.
Other Taiwanese brands that were also present at the event include ALASKA, BenQ Materials, JUSTIME, YZTEK, San Jeou, MEDUSA, AWA, JLA, AND INNOLUX.
Archidex is Malaysia’s most influential architecture and interior design exhibition and is currently held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
The exhibition attracts tens of thousands of visitors from around the world each year and this year’s event has proved to be just as popular. – Aug 1, 2023
