ALTHOUGH we Malaysians have one thousand and one things to complain about our country, we never forget that there is nothing like home.
The recent Merdeka celebration was as colourful as it was impressive, a show of national pride and a promise to the future.
That said, the audiences have every reason to be excited over it. But what happens when excitement is replaced by some other emotion like manic? Now that is a different story.

Recently, netizen @Y_X_sucks highlighted a video where a girl could be seen going crazy while watching the Merdeka parade.
Some of our fellow netizens found it amusing, while a good number expressed concern. “Must be an OKU card holder,” said netizen @Zakri979 while @mfidris38 said she looked like she was suffering from a seizure worthy of a monitor lizard.
The comedy continues with @Az_azwan95 who wondered why women didn’t behave like this when they looked at him. On the other hand, @Raionosuke theorised that this was the effects of porn addiction.
Then there was @Gamakichij87525 who remarked that it was inappropriate for a lady to behave in such a manner even though she was excited. But several others pointed out the occasion as something to be celebrated, so why should people be serious about it?
Also, @NafisahMohamed2 added that she might be behaving in such a manner because she saw one of her family members taking part in the parade.

Finally, the identity of our enthusiastic Merdeka girl has been revealed. On our part, we think there is nothing wrong about her behaviour since she is not hurting anyone.
