Giving homebuyers access to affordable properties on virtual platform

GIVEN that property buyers are presently unable to physically view desirable properties, virtual tours for the affordable properties have been made available. Adoption of digitalisation with virtual tours, e-commerce and increased engagement via online platforms are one of the key trends identified in the recent PropertyGuru Market Outlook 2021.

With the pandemic’s heightening of technology adoption, Lagenda Properties Bhd – an affordable home developer listed on the mainboard of Bursa Malaysia– has partnered with leading e-commerce platform Shopee to give homebuyers access to affordable properties on virtual platforms.

With this collaboration, Lagenda Properties is able to expedite its own digital journey to bring its townships to Malaysians.

Through this partnership, buyers will be able to purchase cash vouchers on Lagenda Properties’ Shopee page at RM88.88 which translate to a relief of RM1,888 for its Bandar Baru Setia Awan Perdana (BBSAP) development in Sitiawan or RM888 for the Lagenda Teluk Intan (LTI) development (both in Perak).

“The terrace homes are priced at an affordable RM190,000 at BBSAP and RM171,000 at LTI,” noted Lagenda Properties. “Both projects have a combined development area of 2,000 acres and 20,000 affordable homes, ranging from 900 to 1,390 sq ft.”

In addition, buyers will be able to browse and purchase Lagenda properties in the likes of terraced houses, semi-Ds and bungalows through Shopee, or even to view the virtual home anytime and anywhere.

“To address the needs of this segment, we aim to launch one new township a year,” Lagenda managing director Datuk Jimmy Doh envisioned.

“This year we will focus on the project in Tapah (Perak) while in 2022 we will develop our township in Sungai Petani, Kedah.”

Both developments are well-planned townships equipped with infrastructure and essential community offerings and a wide range of facilities.

Limited units are allocated for this campaign and availability is based on a first-come, first-served basis,

This initiative in conjunction with the Chinese New Year will be followed up with the Shopee 3.3 Sale next month. – Feb 10, 2021
