Cost savings
A globally leading PV module manufacturer and energy storage system integrator, Jinko Solar currently serves more than 4,000 customers across 200 countries.
Renowned for its ground-breaking innovations, Jinko Solar is ranked No.1 in global module shipments for five successive years with cumulative module shipments exceeding 300GW by 2024.
The group is listed on both the Shanghai Stock Exchange with a market cap of 74.7 bil yuan (RM45.8 bil) and the New York Stock Exchange with a market cap of US$ 1.26 bil (RM5.6 bil).
Sunrise Megabatt is no stranger to Malaysia’s burgeoning energy storage market. In July 2024, the company deployed its proprietary MegaBatt systems at construction firm Taghill Projects Sdn Bhd to replace traditional diesel generators to power construction equipment.
This deployment successfully reduced the client’s operational costs by 50% while significantly reduce construction’s carbon footprint, thus showcasing the transformative potential of BESS technology in real-world applications.
The recent introduction of the Corporate Renewable Energy Supply Scheme (CRESS) by the Malaysian government is expected to drive demand for BESS further.
CRESS promotes corporate access to renewable energy, making energy storage systems vital for managing the intermittency of green energy sources while ensuring stable and reliable power supply. – Jan 3, 2025
