PROPERTY developer Guocoland (Malaysia) Bhd has appointed Leong Chain Hong as its new chief financial officer as of Jan 7, according to a bourse filing.
Leong is filling the spot left vacant following the resignation of Loi Kok Mun effective Nov 1, 2019. According to Guocoland in its Bursa filing last October, Loi wanted to “pursue other career opportunities.”
A chartered accountant, Leong has more than 25 years of working experience and has served as CFO in private and public listed companies.
These companies include SkyWorld Development Group, Hatten Land Ltd, TAHPS Group Bhd (now known as Ayer Holdings Bhd) and Mahajaya Bhd. He had also served as the property division director of KSK Group Bhd, where he was responsible for setting up the property development and business development divisions.
