Hadi warns UMNO of DAP’s political manoeuvrings which can leave BN big brother powerless

UMNO loyalists in Selangor have been reminded ahead of the Kuala Kubu Baharu (KKB) by-election tomorrow (May 10) not to repeat the fate of the party which finally lost its political power in Singapore in the 1950s, no thanks to the atrocity of the People’s Action Party (PAP) which is the ‘patriarch’ of DAP.

PAS president Tan Sri Hadi Awang revealed that the deputy chief minister of Singapore at that time was Tengku Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Jumat (1956-1959) who founded UMNO in the republic but PAP started to put its own Malay candidates in the republic’s ‘s election campaign following its founding in 1954.

In view of PAP’s political approach, the Marang MP who rarely makes public appearance on the political scene these days recalled that the political power of the Malays became eroded and finally disappeared in Singapore.

“A similar political move is being orchestrated by DAP in this country,” the Islamic cleric told a Perikatan Nasional (PN) ceramah perdana in conjunction with the KKB by-election last night (May 9).

“DAP has a clear plan to realise the Malaysian Malaysian agenda whereby all Malaysians are deemed as one single race when in fact, Allah SWT created multiple races. There’s a need to be wary of DAP for it harbours an agenda to gain political power in a subtle and cunning way.”

However, Hadi expressed pessimism that DAP is capable of “wiping out the existence of various races in the country” as per the latter’s Malaysian Malaysia agenda.

“God Almighty allows us to love our race, our family, our people but we cannot be fanatics. (But) DAP brought along a new approach to erase the image of races. This is as if it wants to destroy the nature of God’s creation,” asserted the PAS head honcho.

“But DAP will not be able to do so for there will be tension. Islam is the Federal religion. The party is trying to equate Islam in Malaysia with other religions. Islam will eventually lose its place as the state religion.

“This was what led to ICERD (the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination) which we demonstrated and protested”.

Earlier, Hadi recollected that before Merdeka in 1957, political parties in the likes of PAS, UMNO, MCA and MIC could negotiate to set some important points pertaining to establishment of the Federation of Malaya.

“On the contrary, DAP which is an offshoot of PAP is an extremist party which wants to usurp political power in a subtle and cunning way to spark chaos in the country.” – May 10, 2024
