FOR many ordinary people, it would be next to impossible to find something funny out of the bloody conflict between Palestine and Israel.
It is a tragic story of religious tension, displacement, war and diplomatic failure all rolled up into one.
Therefore it would take a special individual to turn something as distasteful as this into a comedy skit, although unwittingly.
In a video posted on X by netizen Mitsuha, an energetic scholar from the United Kingdom could be seen explaining why Hamas is losing the battle against Israel.
Note that it has not been confirmed or verified if he is indeed a scholar.

In the video, he said god is unlikely to grant victory to anyone who sits next to a guy who is going to sodomise another guy tonight.
He went on to graphically describe how the act of sodomy was achieved, while the interviewer looked on with a resigned look on his face.
Although we would like to point out that there are many aspects that contribute to Israels’ continued victory over Palestine, most obviously being army size, we believe the fact would be lost on this quick speaking scholar.
We are not surprised that his ideas did not sit well with the internet community who lambasted him for his ignorance or stupidity, or both.

Netizen Moleculist1, however, was able to penetrate the criticism and find a funny bone among all the body count associated with the conflict.
Another netizen pointed out to the lime-green sneakers he was wearing, which appears very much incongruent against his white robes.
Perhaps the fashion statement alluded to something vital, but no further elaboration was given.
