CARELESSNESS and negligence is a behaviour that even the most meticulous individual may exhibit once in a while. But regardless, that is no excuse.
Recently, a CCTV video went viral capturing a robbery that happened so quickly. A lady could be seen walking out of her car without locking it. And the result?
A man in black on a Yamaha Ysuku quickly pulled up, opened the door and stole some cash from her car.
Netizens in the comment section pointed out the carelessness of the lady as the cause of the problem although she had since stated that only RM20 had been lost. But a pertinent netizen said that next time, she may lose her car too.

“I swear I have no idea how some people could leave their car like this to enter a shop for a moment. I would even lock my car when filling in the oil,” said @NaFathirra.
Prompted by the incident, netizen @daladom_ms lamented that she also behaved like this, keeping the car engine alive and the doors unlocked when entering a shop.
“There is no number plate behind the motor right? So he usually does this. He is clothed in black too,” said a sharp eyed @FaridAizuddin.
Perhaps the winning comment came from @seronoklari who said that crime happens when there are victims, perpetrators and opportunity.
“Assume that these two components are available at all times, so why not eliminate the opportunity. That can be controlled,” said @seronoklari.
Then there was @HabibKun4 with his extreme solution, suggesting that if caught, the man should have his hand dismembered. “Jail is no longer relevant in 2025,” he said.
“The best is when he runs off, a car runs him down,” added @madrulwan.
On a lighter note, the lady in the video also insulted the robber, stating that he was foolish to rob from the owner of a Myvi.
“Next time if you want to rob, choose a Honda car or something. I know I am careless, but you are useless,” she said, adding that it was foolish to be caught for stealing RM20. —May 23, 2025
