HOTELS are getting into the festive season by offering its patrons with mouth-wateringly delicious festive menus.
For one, the Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa is celebrating the festive season by offering classic and exciting food options with its HoHoHo-To-Go Holiday Feasting Takeaway menu that is available until Jan 1, 2021.
Suitable for small and large families, the HoHoHo-To-Go offering has a mix of the hotel’s executive chef Peter Lee’s signature dishes and all-time favourites.
This includes the Roasted Turkey, brined and slow roasted to perfection for almost two hours, served with brussels sprouts, dried fruit stuffing buttered chestnuts, cranberry-orange compote and giblet gravy (servings for 12 pax).
For those who prefer a smaller portion, there’s the Turkey Leg glazed with tamarind barbeque sauce served with mac and cheese, brussels sprouts, grilled pineapple, citrus-cranberry compote and delicious gravy (servings for two to three pax).
For beef eaters, the Wagyu Beef Karubi will get you going, served with sautéed mushrooms, roasted brussels sprouts, chestnuts, winter truffle potatoes and braising reduction.
There are also other meat dishes like the Roasted Leg of Lamb rubbed with Dijon mustard, herbs and spices and served with garlic bulbs, bell pepper, onion relish, festive sprouts, lemon potatoes with mint hollandaise and harissa juice, as well as the Roasted Free-Range Chicken marinated with rosemary-garlic and prepared in brick roast style served with brussels sprout, dried fruit stuffing buttered chestnuts and giblet gravy.
For salmon lovers, there’s the Salmon Wellington, a cut of fresh salmon and spinach wrapped with puff pastry and served with brussels sprout, winter mushrooms, mustard mashed potatoes, caviar sauce and hollandaise.
However, do take note that all main dishes in the ala carte menu must be ordered at least 24 hours in advance.
