Holy cow! Mat Rempit doing illegal ‘superman’ stunt on expressways at 200km/h on RX-Zs

LITTLE wonder one netizen term the daredevil act as “ride to heaven”!

Such was the stunt biking performed by Mat Rempit on their way back after to their respective hometowns after attending the RX-Z Members 6.0’s gathering from Friday (Sept 13) to Saturday (Sept 14) in Gong Badak, Terengganu which was said to have attracted more than 40,000 participants nationwide.

Supported by the Terengganu state PAS government with the presence of controversial celebrity preacher Ustaz Azhar Idrus (UAI), Terengganu Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar had graced the closing ceremony on Saturday (Sept 14).

“Whoever said that UAI’s aura is greater than PMX’s (Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim), just look at the RXZ group; later if they die in an accident, UAI guarantees that the bikers will go to heaven,” berated pro-Madani social media influencer Abang aji🪵(@apanakdikato) on the X platform. “Really wonder how great he is. 😌”

The brouhaha was further fortified by a TV3 report that three people had died while six others were injured in Terengganu while the police had issued 89 summonses following the RX-Z Members 6.0’s gathering.

Another Pakatan Harapan (PH)-slant keyboard warrior JOKER🔺(@tjerealjoker) called for the ban of the RX-Z Members 6.0’s gathering in the future as such event “is pointless” given the number of road fatalities stemming from the event

“Another victim from the RXZ event was killed. How many people have died? How many are injured? How many accidents have occurred?” he lambasted on X.

Interestingly, a netizen left behind a witness account on JOKER’s post that while he was passing by the East Coast Expressway (LPT) earlier, he came across the Mat Rempit “racing among themselves on the highway while performing the superman stunt”.

“Then they suddenly stopped at the emergency lane to hang out there. Later on, I came across one of them died in the Bukit Besi area after being ran over by a truck. They should find better things to do”.

Right or wrong – whether the RX-Z Members 6.0’s gathering is beneficial or otherwise – some pro-opposition netizens have come to defend UAI who is being trolled as if he is the chief advocate for such event.

“The event is not at fault but that of the bikers and their dangerous way of riding; as long as it’s not your interest, you hit kaw kaw (hard) just to politicise the matter,” one netizen chided UAI’s detractors with another displaying a newspaper cutting of UAI stating that “one goes straight to hell if one dies in illegal street racing” as he likened the death as suicide. – Sept 17, 2024.
