i-City Golden Triangle to be the jewel of investment locations in Selangor

THE i-City Golden Triangle (i-City GT) plans to become the destination of choice for global technology companies looking to relocate to the Southeast Asian region, able to leverage on its world-class infrastructure and readily-available knowledge workers.

Set to be equipped with cutting-edge technologies and 400G-capable network connectivity, i-City GT plans to spur revolutionary business activities while taking into account of new norm methods and lifestyles that were brought about by the pandemic.

In order to uplift living standards of those within the community, i-City GT is expanding into the service industry, specialising in information technology (IT) and finance.

To be developed by I-Berhad, the city will have an estimated gross development value of RM10 bil, spanning across 72-acres.

By embedding elements of IT which is widespread within businesses of the service sector, i-City GT has been forging partnerships with technology leaders all over the world including Huawei International, HIKVision and SenseTime.

Sumurwang Tower, the new Green Building Index-certified Grade-A office tower is the latest addition in i-City GT, where ABC (A: artificial intelligence, B: big data, C: cloud computing) and smart features are utilised.

It’s latest residential project, BeCentral that is situated adjacent to Central i-City mall and neighbouring the DoubleTree by Hilton, uses facial recognition and QR codes for entry and car park access.

Once the final 50% of i-City will be completed, the ultrapolis will be an integrated IT-centric urban international city comprising a shopping mall, an iconic 78-storey tower (the Golden Triangle Tower), Grade A corporate office towers, a Tier-3 data centre, an innovation hub as well as hotels, recreation and residences. – Feb 15, 2021
