THE strategic partnership between Sarawak-based property developer Ibraco Bhd and HELP Education Group (HELP) to form the Tunku Putra-HELP School (TPHS) since January 2020 has made quality education accessible for communities in and around its premier The NorthBank township in Kuching.
This collaboration underscores Ibraco’s vision of integrating world-class institutions and service providers into its premier township developments to ensure a sustainable and enriching environment for members of its communities.
“Ibraco is dedicated to building more than just homes; we are here to create thriving communities,” commented its group managing director Datuk Chew Chiaw Han.
“Our partnership with HELP is a testament to our commitment to provide a holistic living environment where education, sustainability and community development come together”.
Developed by Ibraco, The NorthBank is a modern township that seamlessly integrates residential, commercial, medical and educational components.
Designed to be a self-sustaining community, the development project offers families a secure, convenient and future-ready environment to live, work, learn and play.
Ibraco’s first-in-Sarawak partnership with HELP to foster educational excellence within its township has been structured in such a way to not only support the dynamic development of the township but to also bolster the success of both groups in advancing their foot-print across Sarawak and eventually the country.
This year, Ibraco is supporting THPS in another global programme of excellence. Students from TPHS have been selected to represent Sarawak and Malaysia in the upcoming International Creativity and Innovation Award (ICIA 2025) to be held in Vietnam in April 2025.
This prestigious event provides an invaluable platform for young innovators to showcase their technological advancements and problem-solving skills in the international stage
Over the next five years, Ibraco and TPHS will focus on advancing academic excellence with strengthening of community engagements and promoting an inclusive environment for students by aligning the cause with The NorthBank’s infrastructure development geared at sustainability-focused learning.
To amplify its impact, Ibraco and TPHS are actively engaging with local authorities to align their initiatives with the Sarawak government’s vision for digitalisation, innovation, energy and transportation.
With a focus on sustainability, education and community development, Ibraco’s leadership in urban development combined with TPHS’s dedication to nurturing future generations shall ensure a lasting positive impact on Sarawak’s communities. – April 7, 2025
