ICT Zone is first M’sian partner with HP Amplify Impact Sustainability Sales Leader recognition

ACE Market-listed technology financing (TechFin) and ICT solutions provider ICT Zone Asia Bhd has been officially recognised as an HP Amplify Impact Sustainability Sales Leader for the 2026-2027 cycle.

Issued on April 27, the recognition conferred to the group’s wholly-owned subsidiary ICT Zone Sdn Bhd establishes ICT Zone as the first partner in Malaysia to achieve this specific commercial milestone under HP Inc’s global channel sustainability programmne.

This achievement serves as a direct commercial validation of ICT Zone’s core business model.

By integrating TechFin, Device-as-a-Service (DaaS 360), lifecycle recovery and carbon neutral computing services (CNCS), the group is actively converting corporate environmental mandates into scalable, subscription-based IT procurement contracts.

“This recognition goes beyond basic ESG (environmental, social & governance) compliance; it is a clear indicator of our commercial execution,” enthused ICT Zone’s managing director and CEO Tommy Lim Kok Kwang.

“Being the first in Malaysia to achieve this HP sales leadership status proves our ability to translate corporate sustainability targets into tangible IT procurement strategies.”

As enterprise and government sectors face stricter environmental requirements alongside tighter capital expenditure budgets, sustainable IT is transitioning from a niche consideration into a strict procurement priority, according to Lim.

“Our subscription-based TechFin and DaaS models provide a highly scalable, off-balance-sheet solution to this exact problem, hence positioning us perfectly to capture this shift in market behaviour,” he added.

HP Amplify Impact operates as an award-winning, all-in-one IT channel sustainability programme designed to drive sustainable sales and positive environmental outcomes.

Based on the HP’s programme metrics, 71% of participating partners report an improved win rate for sustainability deals while 52% state that the programme has directly aided in new customer acquisition.

For the ICT Zone, this ecosystem provides the specialised tools and compliance frameworks necessary to aggressively secure greener technology contracts.

This latest recognition further consolidates ICT Zone’s dominant positioning in the sustainable IT sector.

It builds upon a robust, existing portfolio of enterprise-grade accreditations, including the HP Amplify Impact 5-Star Certification, MyHIJAU Mark, ISO 14001:2015, EcoVadis sustainability rating and the ASOCIO ESG Award 2025.

At 2.42pm. ICT Zone was down 0.5 sen or 2.7% to 18 sen with 105,500 shares traded, thus valuing the group at RM143 mil. – May18, 2026
