DATUK Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu has said today that he will not be disappointed if he is not given the Deputy Prime Minister post.
The Bersatu deputy president stressed that regardless of the decision, he will still support the leadership of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri and the Cabinet he formed.
“At the moment, I’m carrying out my duties as the Chenderiang assemblyman and Tambun MP. Both are huge responsibilities for me so I cannot be disappointed.
“Rather, I will be very happy with the establishment of the new administration and hope that this will bring us out of the misery caused by COVID-19,” he told a press conference held via Zoom following the First Session of the Fourth Year of the 14th Perak State Legislative Assembly earlier.
Commenting on the possibilities of him being given any other ministerial post, Ahmad Faizal said he would be honoured to serve the people.
“If given the opportunity, I will serve the people as best I can,” he remarked. – Aug 25, 2021
