Improve on leadership, never ignore the plight of suffering masses

By Farhash Wafa Salvador Rizal Mubarak

THE pain and sufferings of the people should not be ignored as the Government focuses its attention on attaining herd immunity against COVID-19 as soon as possible.

People’s welfare must not be ignored in the process. The numerous cases of Malaysians taking their own lives because they are no longer able to cope is a clear indication that something is not right.

Are such rampant incidents not enough to open the Government’s eyes and realise that the people are being pushed to the limit?

I urge those who are feeling the pain and pressure not to give up and it is our responsibility, as a community, to be more sensitive to their plight.

We have to take it upon ourselves as Malaysians to look out for each other, considering there are still leaders around us who are blind to those in need.

The Government should not belittle or look down on the rakyat’s white flag campaign as they (the political leaders) have failed in their duties and responsibilities to look after the people. – July 17, 2021.
