THE ISP Group which specialises in logistics warehouses-manufacturing hubs (LWMH) and purpose-built workers accommodations (PBWA) aims to lead both the LWMH and PBWA segments in Malaysia by setting new benchmarks in sustainability, security and employee well-being.
With industrial property poised for significant growth – driven by economic recovery and evolving global trends in e-commerce, manufacturing and logistics – the group is excited about the opportunities ahead, according to its founder and group CEO Eric Ng.
“In line with our sustainability goals, ISP Group recently announced lodgment of its landmark RM2 bil Asset-Backed Securitisation (ABS) sukuk wakalah programme,” he noted when announcing the opening of the group’s state-of-the-art headquarters (HQ) in Glenmarie, Selangor.
“This initiative will fund the development of green-certified properties and the retrofitting of existing assets with environmentally friendly features.
“It aligns with Malaysia’s national sustainability agenda while positioning ISP Group as a pioneer in the sustainability industrial ABS sukuk wakalah programme.”
As it is, ISP Group currently operates eight LWMHs and four PBWAs in Malaysia, including one in operation, two under construction and one pending commencement.
Additionally, the company holds a strategic landbank across key locations nationwide which support its long-term growth and development plans.
Meanwhile, the launch of ISP Group’s new HQ marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth journey while underscoring its commitment to innovation, sustainability and excellence.
Spanning four floors, the HQ boasts state-of-the-art facilities designed for modern work efficiency and employee well-being.
Its open-plan offices, collaborative workspaces and agile meeting rooms promote productivity and teamwork while its advanced IT infrastructure and smart systems are intended to ensure seamless global communication.
Further reinforcing ISP Group’s ESG (environment, social and governance) principles, the facility incorporates green initiatives such as waste segregation points, energy-efficient lighting and dedicated green spaces which align with Malaysia’s sustainability goals.
“Our new HQ is more than just a building – it’s a symbol of our journey, our aspirations and the values that define us as a company,” enthused Ng.
“It reflects our commitment to innovation, sustainability and creating a positive impact for our employees, clients and stakeholders. This space will not only drive growth but also foster collaboration and inspire excellence as we move forward.” – Feb 13, 2025
