In addition to Noor Azri and Ku, SCIB in its special board of directors’ meeting held yesterday (March 17), has also resolved to appoint chartered certified accountant Shamsul Anuar Ahamad Ibrahim, 59, as the company’s INED. His appointment would also take place with immediate effect.

“We are confident that the (new) appointments will add to the breadth of diverse experience and expertise to drive the Company’s future aspirations,” commented SCIB’s group managing director/CEO Rosland Othman.

“The board will benefit from their knowledge and unique perspectives.”

Based on Shamsul Anuar’s past tenure with the company, Rosland said the former has contributed effectively to SCIB in terms of governance and risk management.

Meanwhile, Ku, 33, brings over eight years of experience in audit and assurance as well as business advisory as he has previously been involved in various local and international companies in multiple industries.
