Israel has also launched a series of other regional strikes, hitting targets in Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen’s Hodeidah province. That included a strategic Red Sea port in Yemen and a major cement factory. The strikes follow a missile attack by Yemen’s Houthi rebels that briefly shut down Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport. Houthi officials say civilians were wounded in the Israeli strikes.
