JM Bariani House eyes RM100 mil in revenue over the next five years

SD Impex Sdn Bhd (SDI) expects JM Bariani House to generate RM100 mil in revenue over the next five years.

Its group chief executive officer, Nor Iskandar Naini Hanifah said the growth would be supported by the opening of more JM Bariani House branches, with five new branches every year.

“We are specialising in food to cater to local demand and locations, and are offering competitive pricing and experience,” he said in a statement.

SDI acquired the JM Bariani House franchise for RM5.5 mil in January 2019.

JM Bariani House is known for traditional Johor bariani rice cuisine and dishes.

Nor Iskandar said SDI has unveiled JM Bariani House’s new image for the past one year, but has retained its food authenticity.

The Wangsa Walk branch here is the first JM Bariani House outlet refurbished with a new image where several new menus have been introduced.

“SDI is reviewing various locations and is in talks with several operators, including building owners and franchisees, who are interested in working together to expand JM Bariani House,” Nor Iskandar said.

SDI is involved in the food and beverage industry, owning and managing the restaurant business, convenience stores, supply and production of fresh halal chicken, and food catering.

JM Bariani House so far has nine branches located in Subang, Rawang, Wangsa Walk, Evo Mall Bangi, Tesco Puncak Alam, Tesco Setia Alam, USJ 9, Mydin Subang, and Tesco Shah Alam. – May 22, 2020, Bernama
