KKB Engineering Bhd has been awarded a water supply contract worth RM53 mil by the Kuching Water Board.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the group said the contract involved the proposed construction, completion and commissioning of water supply from Jalan Batu Kawa/Matang to and from Matang Mid-Level Reservoir for the Sarawak water supply grid programme.
“The contract period is 16 months commencing from May 2020, subject to the final approval by the Sarawak government,” KKB said.
The contract is expected to contribute positively towards the earnings and net assets of the company and group. — May 4, 2020, Bernama
