KLCI futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opens lower

THE FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened lower, tracking similar performance of the underlying cash market.

At 9.17am, spot month April 2020 slipped 15.50 points to 1,349.00,  May 2020 down 17 points to 1,340.00 while June 2020 and September 2020 were 17.50 points lower each to 1,333.00 and 1,325.50 respectively.

Turnover stood at 1,627 lots with open interest at 26,030 contracts. 

The benchmark FBM KLCI declined 9.03 points to 1,360.89 after 35 minutes of trading. – April 8, 2020, Bernama
