KUALA LUMPUR: The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives opened higher as the index performance rebounded, backed by the optimism of a resolution on local political developments.
At 9.29am, spot month February 2020 and June 2020 both inched eight points to 1,499.50 and 1,488.00, while March upticked nine points to 1,489.0 and Septembr 2020 added 7.5 points to 1,484.0.
Turnover stood at 9,288 lots with open interest at 47,386 contracts.
The benchmark FBM KLCI was 6.02 points higher at 1,495.82 after 30 minutes of trading. – Feb 25, 2020, Bernama
