THE TITLE of “mother” is not easily bestowed upon any woman for it requires them to go through a great journey of love, sacrifice and not forgetting, a great deal of pain.
Bouts of vomiting, stretch marks, insomnia and a good many symptoms make up the long list, giving the ladies some pause.
But recently, one unfortunate woman grabbed quite the attention on the cyberspace for her unique predicament.

Her face experienced some dramatic changes due to the pregnancy, as revealed in the photos she posted online. She further pointed out another lady who shared in the same situation:
Since then, she has received many words of comfort from the online community while some also shared the perils of their journey into childbirth.
According to @AliahNadzri, her nose was swollen and she started to grow pimples too during her pregnancy.
@YantiHir who claimed to be a 50-plus-years-old mother with seven children added that it was all due to hormones. “The old people say it is alright if the mother doesn’t look cute during pregnancy, as the child will become cute later,” she said.
A concerned user further asked the artificial intelligence Grok for an answer to this seemingly mysterious symptom and here was the reply:
Also @laska_____ pointed out that pimples grew across her whole body. Her fingers became fat and dark lines formed on her neck. Her armpits also became darker. Fortunately, all these disappeared after childbirth.
Another netizen shared that his mother went blind for almost seven months due to her pregnancy. “After she gave birth to me, only the blindness disappeared,” he said.
