Setia Awan introduces new transit-oriented concept with Astrum Ampang

SINCE the past few years, the Setia Awan Group’s property development arm has been expanding its presence in several other states around the country apart from Perak, where it is headquartered.

Apart from Melaka (Sri Melaka Residensi) and Negeri Sembilan (Kemayan Heights S2), Setia Awan also expanded to Kuala Lumpur with its first project in the nation’s capital, Brezza Hill Residensi, surrounded by gazetted forest reserve with a skyline view of the city.

“Over the past few years, we noticed a gap within the Klang Valley’s property ownership prospect that has made it impossible for a majority of the population to own a home in the big city. With our new and upcoming projects in and around KL, we hope to be able to help homebuyers by building and delivering quality, affordable homes located close to modern amenities,” said Setia Awan Group (central region) executive director Ng Teck Hua.

Apart from Brezza Hill, Setia Awan will also be launching its second project venture in the Klang Valley: a new 6.75-acre mixed development, Astrum Ampang. It will consist of mostly residential components and its suited within the vicinity of Jalan Ampang and Jalan Jelatek.

Connected to the Jelatek LRT station, Astrum Ampang is built with the Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) concept, a first-of-its-kind concept in Malaysia.

With the introduction of this concept, working adults will be able to afford a residential property in the city whilst enjoying ease of access to public transportation.

Astrum Ampang has a small home, small office (SOHO) concept with a built-up area of 280 sq ft and is affordably priced at RM230,000 per unit, slated to be launched in 2Q 2021. – March 17, 2021
