Designed to give customers a pampering session, this refreshing treatment is suitable for all hair types.
It was one of those days when yours truly woke up with not just a bad hair day but an itchy scalp, to boot. Luckily, the good people from C.Michael London Hair & Aeshetic Centre came to my rescue.
Located on level one of Avenue K, Kuala Lumpur, the salon offers Soothing ScalpbTreatment (priced at RM150 per session). This refreshing and detoxifying treatment is suitable for all hair types, designed to not only give you a pampering session but to alleviate your itchy scalp issue.
The treatment begins with a detoxifying comfort scrub, one that is enriched with ultra-fine granules of Pumice stone to delicately remove impurities from the hair. Coupled with Ceramides, anti-oxidants and UV filters, it removes traces of styling elements and pollution, leaving hair soft, light and shiny. The hair will be worked on in a gentle circular motion to smooth and revitalise from root to tip.

Hair will then be washed with C.Michael’s apple stem cell infused Stem Cell Professional New Improve Restructure Hair Fall Control shampoo. It not only prevents further hair loss but imparts the benefits of apple stem cell back into the hair.
After rinsing, C.Michael Scalp Treatment Cream (hydrating mask) is applied and left to steam for 20 minutes. This non-sticky cream is enriched with Vitamin E, panthenol and aloe vera that help to moisturise the scalp. It delivers intensive moisture to restore the scalp’s natural moisture balance and reduce micro-inflammation. It prevents the scalp from drying out and offers long term protection against dry and itchy scalp. It is able to reduce dandruff, promote hair growth and rejuvenate dry, brittle or damaged hair.
The entire process, which took about an hour, was finished off with a haircut by the salon’s senior stylist, who styled my hair using the brand’s pomade. The overall verdict? A marvellous makeover!
