THE Ministry of Finance announced today that the pump prices of RON97 would be 36 sen lower to RM1.74, RON95 would decline by 38 sen to RM1.44 and diesel would come down by 12 sen to RM1.75 a litre for the week March 21 to 27.
The drop in prices was due to the declining trend of global oil prices following the Covid-19 pandemic and uncertainty in the global economy. The MoF said it will continue to monitor prices to ensure the well-being of SMEs and the B40 group. — March 20, 2020
