THE Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is tracking former Green Ocean Corp Bhd managing director (MD) Datuk Tan See Meng to assist in an on-going probe.
The anti-graft agency said Tan, 67, has a last address of 31, Jalan Damar Laut 3, Glenmarie Cove, Telok Gong, 42000 Port Klang, Selangor.
“Accordingly, members of the public who know or have information about the said individual are requested to contact the investigating officer, Suppiah Thevar Sokkathevar at 03-88700298 or 019-4641129 or e-mail [email protected],” MACC pointed out in a media statement.
A search by FocusM revealed that Tan who had helmed Green Ocean since Dec 27, 2013 resigned four years later from the group on Dec 20, 2017 due to personal commitment.
According to Green Ocean’s filing with Bursa Malaysia back then, Tan is also the founder and MD of Sawit Raya Sdn Bhd, a local entity established in 1983 and is involved in palm oil trading and refinery activities. – Aug 13, 2024
