Madani gov’t backers troll PAS, Bersatu Youth chief after Boeing allowed to operate in Kedah

PRO-Pakatan Harapan (PH) supporters are ticking off PAS and Bersatu Youth chief Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal for their double standard opposition as PAS-ruled Kedah sees no harm in allowing Boeing Composites Malaysia to operate in the state.

Recall that Wan Fayhsal who has been the biggest critic against the sale of Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) shares to deemed Zionist-linked BlackRock’s wholly owned subsidiary Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) has been keeping mum on Boeing re-launching its manufacturing facility in Bukit Kayu Hitam.

“It has been five days since Boeing Malaysia re-opened its composite manufacturing plant in Kedah yet no comments have been heard from the Machang MP (Wan Fayhsal) and Pasir Mas (Ahmad Fadhli Shaari who is also the PAS information chief),” teased Shah Alam MP Azli Yusof (@azliby) on the X platform.

“Maybe they can already accept BlackRock as a business partner. Or are they lost for words?”

In a media statement, PAS has deemed that Boeing’s investment has no connection with BlackRock as alleged by its detractors as the equity of the world’s largest asset manager in Boeing only stands at 6.03%.

Additionally, the investment only entailed the takeover of Aerospace Composites Malaysia Sdn Bhd which has been operating in Bukit Kayu Hitam since 2002.

“The action by certain quarters to link Boeing and BlackRock is malicious as the company employs around 1,000 Malaysians to roll out composite products for all Boeing commercial airplanes,” justified National PAS media and communications director Baharuddin Hassan.

“PAS again urges the government to put a stop to its direct sales of a MAHB stake to GIP in view of BlackRock’s direct involvement in the Israel-Hamas conflict.”

Drawing an analogy, pro-PH keyboard warrior YB Pertikaian (@YBPertikaian) wondered shouldn’t it be considered haram (prohibited) if there is 6% pork content in a cauldron of chicken goulash.

“If this is not deemed haram, what is then the argument? Is it darurat (emergency)? Now who is playing with religious law? To them (PAS), whatever they do is halal but what others do is always haram,” he chastised.

Earlier, another PAS detractor ReeN 🇵🇸 (@ReeNGaston) highlighted news report of Boeing being responsible for supplying nearly 1,000 bombs, including Small Diameter Bombs (SDM) and Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) kits to the Israel Defence Forces (IDF).

“Is the Kedah PAS government okay with Boeing?” she wondered. – Sept 4, 2024
