15 Malaysian firms make Forbes Asia’s list

A CLUTCH of Malaysian companies have made into the Forbes Asia’s Best Under A Billion 2020 list.

Fifteen Malaysian companies made the cut. They are: AME Elite Consortium Bhd, C-Link Squared Ltd, Frontken Corp Bhd, Johore Tin Bhd, Kossan Rubber Industries Bhd, Lii Hen Industries Bhd, Magni-Tech Industries Bhd, OpenSys (M) Bhd, Oriental Interest Bhd, Pentamaster Corp Bhd, Revenue Group Bhd, Scientex Bhd, Sunsuria Bhd, Uchi Technologies Bhd and UWC Bhd.

Forbes ranks these companies that earn less than US$1 bil (RM4.19 bil) in revenue but post consistent topline and bottomline growth.

The exception to the list is C-Link Squared that is based in Malaysia but listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Forbes published its Best Under A Billion list yesterday that highlights 200 listed small- and mid-cap companies in the Asia Pacific region with sales under US$1 bil.

According to Forbes, these companies had exceptional track records but the publication also said the list was based on a full-year data as of July 7 and failed to reflect the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. – Aug 18, 2020
