HOW does one learn to bathe a baby? For starters, you could watch a dummy’s guide on youtube. But babies are such terrifying creatures when they are not sleeping.
They cry and poop, or poop and cry, or both at the same time. There most effective way to learn how to bathe a baby is by having hands on experience, or “cat’s on experience.”
In a video on X, an elderly Thai man has found the perfect substitute for a baby in his “how to bathe a baby” tutorial, and that perfect substitute could be no other than a cat.

The man could be seen cradling the cat gently with both hands, popping it into a baby bath and then mock scrubbing it as though it was a baby being shampooed.
Since the adult cat was about the size and weight of an infant, we have to say this is the perfect substitute.
Many netizens were enamoured by the model in the video, calling it cute and cooperative.
A feline lover praised the adorable creature for its patience since cats are not known for such qualities. We would like to apologise to fellow cat lovers in advance.
However, netizen KD6-3.7 could foresee the danger coming.
Since the video did not include the part where the cat is being bathed for real, we guess we will never know.
Also, the man was not wearing any protective gloves so we hope he already paid his insurance.
Prompted by the video, one netizen decided to showcase her cat during bath time which appears to be rather relaxed despite warnings about how cats can be when threatened by water.
But looking at the relaxed kitty in the video, it is hard for us not to be convinced that it is very well trained and loved by its owner.
