MCO 3.0 proven effective, COVID-19 infection rate decreasing

IT seems that the current movement control order (MCO 3.0) is doing its job of bringing down the number of new COVID-19 cases as the day goes by.

From yesterday’s 6,239 new cases, there is a slight improvement today, recording a decreased number of 5,671 new cases.

While the number is still considered high, it undoubtedly shows that the MCO 3.0 is working, for now.

Regrettably, the number of casualties on a daily basis is still extremely high, with today clocking at 73 deaths (total 3,684).

Apart from that, there are now 911 patients being admitted into intensive care units, with 462 of them in need of ventilator support.

However, there have been 7,352 patients discharged today, bringing the total number of recoveries to 556,030. – June 10, 2021
