MINETECH Resources Bhd remained as the most actively traded counter in the morning session after Datuk Awang Daud Awang Putera, the company’s new executive chairman, continued to increase his stake in the mining company.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Minetech said Awang Daud was appointed as the firm’s new executive chairman on Tuesday.
He is also the co-founder of Serba Dinamik Holdings Bhd.
According to a news report, Awang Daud now holds 155.8 million shares, or a 16.9% stake in Minetech, up 0.6% from the 150.0 million shares he owned on the first day he took office.
At 11.38am, Minetech’s share added one sen to 15 sen with 46.06 million shares changing hands. — April 2, 2020, Bernama
