TO date, more than 1.4 billion COVID-19 vaccine jabs have been administered across the world, with China leading the way.
The East Asian nation has administered 366.91 million jabs, according to the Our World in Data website.
This is followed by the US, with more than 266.5 million vaccines administered.
Meanwhile, India has registered 178.36 million, the UK (54.8 million), Brazil (50.31 million), Germany (38.65 million) and France (27.46 million).
The list continues with Italy (25.95 million), Turkey (25.6 million jabs), followed by Russia, Indonesia and Mexico.
The country with the most doses of the vaccine in terms of population was the East African island nation of Seychelles, with 131 doses per 100 people.
As for Malaysia, 1.89 million coronavirus vaccine doses were administered across the country as of May 11. – May 15, 2021
