MR DOLLAR, a subsidiary of MR DIY Group (M) Bhd, has announced the launch of its 50th store at Sunway Pyramid, Selangor on Wednesday (Nov 3).
According to MR DIY Group (M) Bhd vice president of marketing Andy Chin, the whole aim of MR DOLLAR is to make affordable food and beverage (F&B) and household products more accessible to more people.
“By fixing prices at ‘Always RM2 or RM5’ we ensure people can shop confidently and within their means while still being assured of the quality of the products they buy,” he commented.
Chin added that the MR DOLLAR brand name has resonated well with Malaysians since the launch of the brand’s first store in Cheras in August 2020.
“Just like MR DIY, MR DOLLAR is designed to help Malaysians stretch their ringgit further and to gain the best value for money with every purchase.
“It is yet another way for us to deliver our ‘Always Low Prices’ promise to more Malaysians.”
In addition to an array of activities to celebrate the grand opening of the new store in Sunway Pyramid, MR DOLLAR is offering a ‘You Shop, We Pay!’ promotion between Nov 5-7, 2021 during which the retailer will fully sponsor the purchases of every 50th customer.
The retailer is also organising the ‘50th Store Celebration Special Deal’ featuring a lineup of more than 40 products ranging from groceries to household products and personal protective equipment (PPEs) at a fixed price of RM2 and RM5 while stocks last.
The MR DOLLAR store at Sunway Pyramid offers a comfortable shopping environment with over 12,000 choices of products in an 8,000-sqft location. – Nov 3, 2021
