Mrs Malaysia Supreme 2022 makes every married woman a force to be reckoned with

Wong Siew Wei

OVER a dozen of Malaysian women from various background – from homemaker to CEO – came forward to prove that they are a force to be reckoned with on the stage of Mrs Malaysia Supreme 2022 Grand Final in One City, Subang Jaya recently.

Themed “Transforming Women to be a New Force”, Mrs Malaysia Supreme 2022 which is the Malaysian edition of Mrs Asia Supreme 2022 witnessed the beauty queens battling it out with various talent sets – from Bollywood, Thai, Malay and Chinese dance to impersonating Lady Gaga and Psy to unleashing their musical talent on piano and violin.

These married women have proven they are now ready to move on with life with renewed confidence, vigour and elegance at this year’s Mrs Asia Supreme which has entered its ninth year.

“I’m here to challenge myself apart from being a mother to my two-year old daughter. I just want to create a once-in-a-lifetime legacy for myself and be a role model to all women out there,” justified Wong Siew Wei who is the eventual Mrs South East Asia Supreme Global 2022 Champion.

“Women should not confine themselves at home but should bring out the best version of themselves,” added Wong.

Veron Tan

Veron Tan, CEO of smart convenient store Mondo Grocery who won the Mrs Malaysia Asia Supreme Intercontinental 2022 title concurred with Wong.

“I am a new edge woman. I want to strike a balance in life. Who says a CEO can’t be gorgeous and graceful apart from being a powerful entrepreneur?” she asked. “I want more than just two B’s (beauty and business). I want to be ‘A’ (ace)… The best of the best.”

Other winners in the Top 10 category include Hailey Yeoh (Mrs South East Asia Supreme Tourism 2022 Champion); Bong Aoi (Malaysia Asia Supreme Global 2022 Champion); and Vivian Siah (Mrs Borneo Asia Supreme Tourism 2022 Champion).
