THE Ministry of Finance has appointed Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as Khazanah Nasional Bhd chairman effective from April 1.
He takes over from former PM Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who stepped down as chairman and member of the board on March 25.
The ministry has also appointed Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz and Datuk Mohammed Azlan Hashim as the sovereign fund’s board members.
Mohammed Azlan, formerly Khazanah’s nominee director, is currently chairman of IHH Healthcare Bhd. – April 1, 2020
