Najib: “Muhyiddin’s treacherous behaviour makes him unfit for PM post”

HAVING congratulated Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as Malaysia’s 10th Prime Minister (PM), the country’s sixth PM Datuk Seri Najib Razak then took a swipe at Perikatan Nasional (PN) chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin for “having already begun to oppose the Palace and the Council of Malay Rulers”.

The incarcerated former Pekan MP even advised Anwar to challenge the incumbent Pagoh MP to show his list of 115 MPs who gave him their statutory declarations (SDs).

“He said he has 115 affidavits (SD) that support him to become PM. This list includes 10 BN (Barisan Nasional) MPs and 23 GPS (Gabungan Parti Sarawak) MPs,” Najib penned in his Facebook (most probably uploaded by an administrator).

“Even before UMNO and BN had time to meet, their gang of brokers had already started buying SDs from a small number of BN Parliamentarians.”

Najib claimed that Muhyiddin who is also the Bersatu president had also lied to GPS that BN had agreed to join the PN government even though UMNO and BN had never met with either PN or GPS.

“He (Muhyiddin) also doesn’t understand that this SD game is no longer applicable after the anti-hopping bill comes into force,” explained Najib.

“MPs who disobey the party’s instructions will lose their parliamentary seats which they won on the BN ticket. For that reason, the 10 BN MPs who were previously bought over by PN managed to inform the National Palace in time that they were withdrawing their SDs.”

Najib further chided Muhyiddin for his traitorous behaviour, his “scheme of things” game plan for bribing and his greed for power what has resulted in him not getting appointed as PM today.

“Who else do you want to blame? Imagine if he has betrayed and started to split BN even before becoming a partner in a joint government, what will be the fate of UMNO and BN after another 5 years?” asked Najib.

“Unification of the ummah (Muslim solidarity) does not begin with betrayal. For that reason, the UMNO supreme council had on yesterday (Nov 23) agreed to form a unity government as ordered by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong on condition that UMNO will not accept PN as its coalition partner.” – Nov 24, 2022
