Pakistan says almost 200 people, including 31 civilians, have been killed in a series of attacks and counterattacks across the southwestern province of Balochistan. Baloch separatists launched coordinated assaults in several districts including the provincial capital, Quetta.
Security forces attacked them in response, killing at least 145 fighters. —Feb 2, 2025
