PAS deputy president Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man is facing backlash from X platform users who are asking him why his party is playing the ‘sodomy’ card when in the past, it was the one who defended Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim against such charges.
In a post on X, an influencer on the social media platform @SyedAkramin asked the PAS leader what has changed between the 1990s and now?
Tahun 90an, PAS paling kuat lawan tuduhan liwat. Presiden mereka sendiri tulis buku pertahan Anwar.

Other X users are joining the conversation, claiming that many party members are not talking about it as they remember defending the Prime Minister in the past and recognise that he is cleared of these charges thanks to the pardon from the King in 2018.
These users claim that a small minority in the party is making such noises.

Nevertheless, as usual, there are very few who would support the PAS leader in such debates. Netizens are defending PMX stating that those in opposition who are not even running in today’s election are the loudest of them all.
