Netizens debating whether Anwar initiated IJN Move with Hadi

WHILE the rumoured Dubai move awaits confirmation amid talks of 120 MPs opposing Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in Parliament, online discussions revolve around whether Anwar’s visit to the Institut Jantung Negara (IJN) is a sudden IJN Move.

PAS leader Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang is receiving treatment at IJN and Anwar visited the institution to check on a former advisor Ziauddin Sardar when he heard the PAS leader was also at the IJN.

However, pro-Perikatan Nasional (PN) supporters jumped on Anwar’s failure to meet with Hadi to term the event the ‘Langkah IJN Gagal’.

They mean to say that Anwar deliberately went to the IJN to seek Hadi’s help after rumours that he had lost his majority in Parliament. The Parliament will only be seated in February.

Some of the PN supporters believe Anwar failed to get Hadi’s support, while Pakatan Harapan (PH) supporters are rubbishing such talks.

A photo attachment in the post explains what user Ratu Naga was trying to express.

(What Lankah IJN? He just wanted to visit his friend. That is when he found out that Hadi was also at the IJN, is it wrong to attempt to visit him?)

User @duaTepek, taking the Lankah IJN rumours seriously, said Anwar did laugh at Hadi for saying they had the numbers after the elections in 2022.

(Before this, they were enthusiastically mocking and ridiculing the expression of Hadi, including PMX himself, “We’ve had enough numbers”. God willing, we will see who will end up crying after mocking and laughing at Hadi.) – Jan 6, 2023
