THE Man on the Run documentary on Netflix has sparked a debate on the X platform, with many now saying they do not believe that former premier Datuk Seri Najib Razak is playing dumb on the 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB) scandal.
Meanwhile, netizens are comparing Prime Minister (PM) Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to the former PMs of Malaysia, saying he has a ‘great heart’.
The debate started with @grandiloquus posting a note on X after watching the controversial Netflix documentary, saying Anwar could be the best PM we ‘ever’ have in our lifetime.
After watching Man On The Run on Netflix, it dawned on me that Anwar Ibrahim might be the best prime minister that we will ever have in our lifetime.

But netizen @the_REAL_deal88 is of the view that it is too early to jump to conclusion on Anwar.
Its a little premature to say he is the best we will “ever” have but I get you. Presently, I do see glimpse but its a long journey and winding road ahead from an economic perspective.

Nevertheless, @annoyedmsian concurs with the original poster, saying Anwar seems to have the ‘best heart’ when compared to eight other PMs.
Omg, I had the same thought. My rating for DSAI is not for his current performance as PM, but more along the lines of how he seems to have the ‘best heart’ when compared to the other 8. Thrown in jail 2 times but showed no vengeance or resentment.

Moreover, other users are saying the PM needs time to accomplish his promises and even if he does not accomplish them all, it will be because of those surrounding him in the government and because of the system. – Jan 13, 2023
