DOUBLE parkers are absolute bane of society. Their lack of common sense and courtesy is galling, what more when it is in a hospital?
A post shared by social media influencer Bani (@rabbianahmad) tells of a lady driver who is appealing for eyewitness account to the damage inflicted on her car parked at the Kajang Hospital recently.
This is despite she admitted that she was in the wrong for having double parked and had not put her car’s gear on neutral position to allow her car to be pushed.

This was when the poster asked just what the point is of seeking eyewitnesses when she had already admitted her guilt. He counselled that she should just put up and bear the repair costs herself.
The post has already generated 1.1 million views at the tIme of writing with many netizens couldn’t agree more with the poster.
With one implying that with visitors to a hospital already stressed up, it is unimaginable having to deal with such double parkers “who would drive most over the edge to the extent of breaking her car window”. The point to remember, according to the commenter, is “never be selfish”.
One asked if this was the same double parker who was highlighted recently. There were apparently numerous calls to the number posited on the dashboard but to no avail.
If this was indeed the case, some netizens opined that the lesson needs to be heeded. At the very least, the phone number displayed must be attended to and not just a “decoration”.
Some reckoned that if the lady had had urgent matters, she at the very least should have left the handbrake down and the gear in ‘N’.
One shared their frustration at being confronted with such selfish attitude.
While another called for common sense to be applied in such scenarios to avoid similar ugly incidents.
Some did point out that two wrongs don’t make a right while reasoning that the person who damaged the car’s window was also open to a police case.
One netizen chose to give the lady the benefit of doubt, hinting that perhaps she wanted to make amends for her callousness, indemnify for time wasted and potential injury in breaking window.
While another wondered if the lady wanted to proffer a personal apology for being a nuisance.
One netizen summed up the sentiments saying if they were the owner of the double-parked vehicle, they’d be embarrassed to have the issue go viral, saying that it was a real shame the lady had to learn the hard way.
