A DASHCAM video of a road accident involving social media influencer Iman Kamil has been making the rounds on social media.
It shows a blue MG4 electric vehicle (EV) being driven at high speed despite the heavy downpour, overtaking the vehicle with the dashcam on the right lane.
The clip was edited to show debris on the road and the blue EV had been involved in a serious collision (with a lorry).

Many were unimpressed by Iman’s driving etiquette, which showed scant regard for the safety of other road users.
One even called for a harsh sentence to punish Iman for the reckless endangerment of other road users.
Some reckoned that with this video going viral, it is unlikely the insurance will cover the damages given the manner in which Iman was driving.
Another netizen pointedly remarked that it was one thing for the influencer to not have his wheels but the lorry was a source of income for someone who needs it to be on the road daily.

Many mocked Imran EV for uploading the accident as “content”, highlighting his misplaced priorities.

One commented that Iman should be thanking his lucky stars that he is still alive instead of populating his social media.
It is very fortunate that nobody got hurt in the accident and that perhaps the influencer should pause to reflect on his lucky escape rather than constantly feeding the social media machine. – Oct 5, 2024
