Netizens told Loke it is unethical for MAS to overcharge for flights without proper meals

TRANSPORT Minister Anthony Loke Siew Fook shared a post on Facebook saying Malaysia Airlines (MAS) has resumed serving hot meals on flights, but netizens are saying the minister should take action against the airline management.

In his Facebook entry written in Bahasa Malaysia, Loke said:

(This morning (Sept 16), I took a MAS flight to Kuching to attend the Cabinet Meeting and subsequently the celebration of Malaysia Day tonight.

(For your information, hot meals have gradually been reintroduced for several sectors, including KL-Kuching, after additional in-flight meal preparation equipment was received by MAS.

(Of course, MAS’ signature dish, which is satay is also provided for the business class.
Any inconvenience still faced in other flights is deeply regretted and MAS will strive to fully restore the situation as soon as possible.)

“Just out of curiosity. Why do you think MAS terminated Brahim’s contract suddenly to the point of inconveniencing customers? Can’t they do it after getting a replacement? I believe they will not unnecessarily put their name on the line. Or….I think you can get my drift.”

Some users asked the minister why he did not take action against the management.
